Change Orders (CO)

The purpose of COs are to update or further customize a site item through coding. Some clients from time to time would like a custom button, fixed masthead, or other custom item.  These changes do require some coding to be implemented.  The COs that we do for a site are the following:

  • FCO = Fulfillment ( FMG, ASQ site changes AFTER going live, or after hand-off from the Migrations Team])
  • CMCO = ASQ site changes PRIOR to going live (Migrations Team)
  • WCO = Front-End Web Developers (FMG, ASQ site changes AFTER going live, or after hand-off from the Migrations Team)

For most COs, the work required is usually a chargeable event.  To obtain a quote, you can either ask the slack room or view General Costs to see if we already have a quote and you do not have to wait to see how much it would be.  Before requesting a quote in the slack room, see if you can complete your request with a code snippet from this page http://confluence.fmgsuite.com/display/CREAT/Code+Snippets.

Please remember for obtaining a quote in the #co-quote slack room:

  • Put the following information in one message.
  • Do not use multiple chats for a single quote.
  • Combine quote requests for multiple cases into one request.

Format like this example for the slack post as well as the case in Salesforce:
@co-quote

2. Fix the contact box above the footer to include the office number and email that is overflowing into the footer

Additional Comments/Questions here: Can you please quote as a whole and individually in case the customer only wants to complete one?

*Your quote request will be answered in a thread and marked with a Slack reaction. Do not use this reaction yourself as we will believe we’ve already replied to your request.

NOTE: Requests sometimes come fast and furious. Fulfillment and Front-End Web Dev are often working on multiple other projects. Please be patient.

  • If you have not received a response in 24 hours, start a thread from your original quote request and tag @TerryLee and @TennysonMoss.
  • Do not repost your request and do not put a new post asking us to look at your quote above. Use a thread.

If you need to update a request that has already been responded to, use the thread from the original request and ping @fco-quote and ask your updated request there.

If you have any questions, please see your CSR Tier 2’s, Leads, and Managers.

Priority: Escalate it through your Manager for them to get a quote

NOTES:

Setup Cases that need FCO’s - If a website has been setup and through QC and a customer emails in for more changes on the setup email, these cases will be sent to CS and a FCO will need to be created and the CSR will need to be communicating with the customer. Some of their requests will need quotes.
